Leverage the AMD platform for video editing and multimedia processing

MEDIA SDK IS NOW OPEN SOURCE & HAS MOVED TO GPUOPEN

The new Advanced Media Framework (AMF) is the successor to the Media SDK.  We’re pleased to announce that this successor is open source and has been moved to GPUOpen. Please visit GPUOpen for the latest information and downloads for the Advanced Media Framework SDK.

The legacy content below is no longer supported but will be provided as a courtesy for you through September. Please visit GPUOpen for the most current info and downloads related to the new AMF SDK.

The Media SDK allows developers to optimally access AMD devices for multimedia processing. The SDK may be used in developing video conferencing, wireless display, remote desktop, video editing, transcode and playback applications. Specifically developers can use the Media SDK for: Accessing AMD media accelerators for video encoding and decoding; GPU accelerated video pre/post processing; and Low latency video capture and encoding.
