Additional requirements:

To enable OpenCL kernel debugging, gDEBugger requires an OpenCL-enabled AMD GPU and appropriate drivers.
Machines with no AMD GPU can only use API-level debugging.

To install gDEBugger:

  • Windows Operating System:
    1. Make sure the hardware and software requirements are fulfilled.
    2. Uninstall any previous versions of gDEBugger you may have installed on your computer.
    3. Install gDEBugger by double clicking on the downloaded package and follow the installation wizard.
  • Linux Operating Systems:
    1. Make sure the hardware and software requirements are fulfilled.
    2. Extract the gDEBugger archive to your preferred location.
    3. Verify that the “gDEBugger” script and “gDEBugger-bin” executable have appropriate permissions.
