The AMD APP SDK v2.6 with OpenCL™ 1.1 support uses the OpenCL™ ICD (Installable Client Driver) as part of the software stack. Code written with beta releases of the ATI Stream SDK v2.0 requires changes to comply with the OpenCL™ ICD requirements, see KB71 for more information.

Installation Notes

For OpenCL™ support, it is important to download and install the indicated tested driver listed below for your graphics card before proceeding. See also System Requirements and Driver Compatibility for additional information.

OpenCL™ 1.2 Beta

Use these beta drivers to unlock a beta level implementation of the OpenCL™ 1.2 specification.

Install these drivers after you install the AMD APP SDK v2.6.

Use these drivers to update your existing Catalyst drivers. If you have not already installed the AMD APP SDK v2.6 please be sure to do that also.

To use OpenCL™ 1.2 with APP SDK 2.6, it is necessary to download the Additional Files from the table below and replace the included files in the APP SDK install directory.
